FAQ
Can more than one class from my school use this resource?
Absolutely, each class teacher can either register separately or you can enter all the pupils under one
class teacher and simply remember to put in a specific class name rather than simply Y5 for all year 5
pupils.
Are passwords case sensitive?
Yes, so are pupil names so if you are using this resource with a KS1 class we recommend only using
lower case
I have registered all my pupils but they can’t login?
Have you activated their logins? When you view the class list on the teacher page they should all
have red ticks next to their names, if they don’t they can’t login.
I have typed a pupils name in wrongly can I correct this?
No you will just have to either use the incorrectly spelled login or create a new one for them with the
correct spelling and deactivate the wrong one.
Do we need to complete both questionnaires?
No but it increases the usefulness of the data when you come to examine it.
We have a school policy of not weighing individual children but it won’t let the pupils proceed without
entering a weight?
Choose and average weight for your age group and get all the pupils to enter the same figure.
A pupil wants to go back and change an answer but the site won’t let them?
Which ever question they are currently viewing needs to be completed and then you click to go back.
Or you can wait until they have completely finished and then go back through; they will only be able to
amend a question doing it this way if you enter your password.
Our parents aren’t comfortable entering their home postcode?
If after reading the data protection statement they are still not happy for the post code to be used,
simply use the school postcode instead.
I want to compare our class results with other schools how do I do this?
You need to access the teacher login, then under utilities select Analysis, you can then compare your
school to either the national average or the county average, you can also specify the type of schools
you are being compared to.
When we click to view bar charts in either the pupils analysis section or the teacher section the bar
charts are too small to see, how do we fix this?
Some sections of the site do not display correctly if you are using Mozilla Firefox, switch to Microsoft
Explorer and it should be fine.
